Brother Knights, The Sunday after Easter is Divine Mercy Sunday, so our Divine Mercy Novena begins on April 10 and finishes 9 days later on Saturday, April 18. Parish Successfully Funds Ultrasound Machine December 17, 2020

The Christmas season is a time for Miracles. And the Parish at St. Francis brought a miracle to God’s family that will keep on giving…hopefully miracle after miracle. A few weeks ago the St. Francis Knights of Columbus brought an opportunity to our parish that could have an everlasting effect on human life. It was a call to fund an ultrasound machine for a new pregnancy center in the Fountain Fort Carson area. It’s a 3D Hi Tech machine that could help mothers choose whether to end a life …or to save it. The goal was to raise $16,500 and the Knights of Columbus national office would match that total to purchase the machine that was valued at $33,000. The life-saving machine is now a reality. It took our parish two weekends of masses to raise the money. It came in one envelope at a time in our collection baskets. The fund drive was scheduled to last six weeks. But, it took two weekends starting on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception for the church with a Big Heart to fund
